Teacher BUZZ

Alyssa began dancing at the age of 10, studying jazz and hip hop at her local studio in Fort Myers, Florida. At the age of 11, she joined her local studio’s competition team and added ballet, lyrical, and tap to her dance training. Since then, she has traveled locally to many competitions with her team & was an integral part of the dance program at her performing arts school. She moved to New Jersey in 2016 and became a featured dancer in Cherokee High School’s production of Anything Goes. During her final year at Cherokee, she was a dance captain for the fall and spring musical.

After graduating in 2018, Miss Alyssa began her teaching career at Tiny Tutus. She became certified in Progressive Ballet Technique, and is very committed to furthering her knowledge and pursuing her craft. She keeps up her training at a variety of schools, such as The Rock Center for Dance Education (PHL) and Broadway Dance Center (NYC). In 2023, Alyssa became a member of Empire Dance NJ, a local hip hop company in SJ.

Miss Alyssa is excited to share her passion for dance with her students, and is looking forward to many years to come with the Tutus family!
