Studio B owner Lauren Hitchell said, “I have been dancing my entire life, I was in a competitive dance company basically my entire childhood. I taught professionally, I taught before opening up a studio. My instructors are all professionals in their craft as well.”
After dancing for the majority of her life, Hitchell opened up in Studio B seven years ago after seeing a great need for an adult dance studio in the county.
“I started it because there was no where up here for adults to dance,” Hitchell said. “I started it with the intention of it being an adult dance studio but quickly learned there was also a need for unique group fitness classes that no one was offering up here.”
Outside of offering classes like booty barre, knockout, high-intensity interval training, hip-hop cardio, vertical fitness, TRX, ballet, swing, Latin ballroom, hip hop and zumba, Studio B is also known for its private lessons and celebrations.
Studio B offers unique experiences such as customized bachelorette parties, private dance lessons, adult birthday parties and “first dance” lessons for couples getting married.
Studio B offers classes throughout the week and is currently accepting walk-ins to classes, although pre-registration is encouraged. Studio B has several pricing options for those interested in exploring the studio or wanting to try out a new hobby.
Those who are looking to make a long-term commitment can also purchase a membership pass, which ranges in price points and length. The most basic membership plan begins with 4 classes a month and costs $80 per month.
Studio B also offers a trial period for new members where guests can try an unlimited number of classes for two weeks for $89.
